MISI Family Day Semester 2 2014/2015

May 16, 2015 – Managed by Ikhmal Othman and Naeimah Jamin, this semester’s MISI Family Day was intended to gather as many club members as possible for a day. In succinct words, it’s sort of a mass gathering.


ALHAMDULILLAH, ALHAMDULILLAH, ALHAMDULILLAH… lots of club members joined our programme. For this semester, there were three events including Running MISIan. For the morning session, our modulators – Nadiah Idris and Syahirah Shamsuddin – conducted several entertaining games for our participants. Before we started the game, each group created their own cheer with a simple choreography.





At noon, we had Movie-Screening. However, many decided to help our committees preparing for the main event – BBQ-ing! Besides serving lots of food to gorge these people, we committees also welcomed graduated students who used to be part of this club with the aim to share their experiences as MISIans with us. To buy us more time, we also invited OPAH Buskers to perform a few songs on that night. Gempak it seemed, we really threw a party on that night.






Besides welcoming new members, it was alhamdulillah a huge success to have some former club members who also took part of our programme like Asmah Rojan, Syazwinnie Omar, Usman Suardi, Wong Ken Chung and more.

OUTREACH TO KAMPUNG PAHU (OPAH) SERIES 3 Assalamualaikum warahmatullah.. Recently, Kampung Pahu, Ranau, Sabah facing the hardship to get clean water source due to El-Nino event. The villagers are in need of water equipment such as water pump and water tank especially those who are unable financially. Thus, OPAH Series 3, MISI CLUB IIUM is now collecting money for donation to help the villagers to buy the equipment. Other than that, donations such as Book/Reading materials, Fabric, Baju kurung, and baju melayu are also accepted to be given to those in need. This programme is a community service. MISI AGM & AGD Semester 1 2015/2016

Assalamualaikum w.b.t December 10, 2015  – After more than one year, it’s what we all have been waiting for which was the dissolution of our line-up for 2014/2015 session. Managed by Afiq Kahar and Masni Mayuddin, our Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Annual Grand Dinner (AGD) was held at Seminar Room 2, Cultural Activity Centre (CAC). At the beginning of programme, we all listened to all reports about our whole tenure from the mainboard. After Asri Abd Rahim gave his last speech as our club president and dissolved his own line-up, it’s time to introduce our new line-up for 2015/2016 session with our video. OPAH Series 2

Assalamualaikum w.b.t For the second series of Outreach to Kampung Pahu (OPAH), our programme manager and assistant programme manager were Ade Jobin and Syahirah Shamsudin respectively. With the aim to build a mini library, we welcomed thirteen new OPAH family members! October 24, 2015  – Travelled with Malindo Air, this airline served us the most comfortable air trip compared to our previous flights. Touching down at the airport, we were welcomed by Hidayah Centre Foundation (HFC) representatives named Azwan Abdullah and Riduan Ramli. Then, we directly departed for a grocery to get everything we needed for our twenty five hampers we allocated for the villagers.
