MISI Family Day 2.0 Semester 1 2015/2016
Assalamualaikum w.b.t
November
29, 2015 – MISI Club has
just organized another programme – MISI Family Day 2.0 - a few days ago.
Managed by Ridzuan Bahdishah and Syahira Kamaruzaman, the programme was a bit
different compared to its first series. Why?
Held at Female Sports Complex (FSC), it’s a 90s themed programme this time around. Early in the morning, the participants had to be there by 8.00AM. Alhamdulillah, a number of MISIans was able to join our programme even though it was rainy. To start with, we had an aerobic session with some nostalgic songs to reminisce them with our old days back then.
Like our previous programmes, participants were all divided into teams with different years of study. Next, we committees provided a paper for every single one of them to get to know one another and write down their biographical details on that paper. Interestingly, we then compiled all of those papers to be a book.

For
the module Angan-Angan Mat Jenin, each team was asked to draw a popular cartoon
on a margined paper. Then, the team would present every moral value that we
audiences could get from the cartoon. Before we all proceeded to more extreme
modules, we served our participants with our very own handmade ice-cream. To
add, we did ask them to bring one sarong for themselves.
While
preparing for their lunch, we had another module – ‘Air Ajaib’. Instead of
getting the work done, the purpose of the module was to test their teamwork. As
long as our participants had their laughs, it seemed okay to me... hahaah3. For
our lunch, we ate Nasi Lemak with
fruity cocktail as our dessert. It’s our Ayun Syafie of course, we’d always be
stuffed if she’s our caterer.
We
committees and participants sat in a big circle, enjoying our lunch and
listening to a special performance by our guest - Basir Roslan. At the end of the event, there were neither losers nor
winners because they all got their prizes equally. Our general taskers bought
some junk food that really reminded us of our childhood years.
At
the end, congrats to both Ridzuan Bahdishah and Syahira Kamaruzaman. Lastly,
don’t forget to attend our Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Annual Grand Dinner
(AGD) which will be held on this upcoming December 10!
