MISI
Club organized another outreach to Pahu Village which is located in Kundasang,
Ranau. Managed by Asri Abd Rahim and Liyana Luqman, there were another twelve
committees participating this programme.
June
11, 2015 - After Opening Ceremony,
everyone visited their respective houses for the first time to get to know each
foster family. For Mahabbah Visit, each
team was led by Sabahan committees with the aim to have a proper communication as
the others couldn’t really understand some unfamiliar words. At night, there’s a
da’wah class when we taught them how to perform tayammum properly.
June
12, 2015 - Committees continued their survey for Mahabbah Visit with the aim to collect
more and more data. In order to collect such data, Mahabbah Visit was one of the most important activities in which
committees visited from a house to another one. At night, we could finally manage to hold the al-Baghdadi class as all equipment were well-prepared!
June
13, 2015 - Committees were required to fully get themselves prepared for the day’s
strenuous activities. In terms of relationship, playing sport was another
initiative to strengthen our ukhuwah with villagers. Plus, modulator ensured his modules were ready at the hall and the mosque. At night, caterers didn't serve us a dinner
because we're invited to attend an aqiqah ceremony.
June
14, 2015 - During Rezeki Pagi, we visited
some farms in order to
learn their daily routines. During Rewang, we hectically prepared for
Melantak Meja and Cultural Night in
conjunction with our Closing Ceremony. In his speech, Judia Mongkit expressed his gratitude and hoped to meet us again for the next series. At the
end, donated clothes were distributed to the whole village.
June
15, 2015 - The villagers paid us a visit for the
last time before the committees left for Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Pahu and
Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Bundu Tuhan (SMK) Bundu Tuhan with the aim to
organize a motivational programme. In terms of
academics, we aimed to generate their sense of curiosity in seeking
knowledge as well as develop their self-potential and communication skills.
June
16, 2015 - Additionally, the IIUM Today and two HCF representatives also stayed
at the homestay with the committees. As Ramah
Mesra Bersama Alumni was cancelled due to some inevitable
circumstances, committees had a plenty of time to have an educational visit
around Ranau with the aim to gain more knowledge about this state before taking a flight back to the peninsular.
To Asri Abd Rahim and Liyana Luqman, WELL DONE!!! For those who're
interested to be part of our outreach programmes, you guys should better join
our upcoming programmes as our programme managers are still looking for
committees. In sha Allah
