MISI Mass Gathering Semester 1 2015/2016

October 5, 2015 – Hi, guys! Did you enjoy our mass gathering? Managed by Hamka Rosli and Suhaili Fadzil, was once again organized to promote the club to our newcomers as well as what we plan for our upcoming programmes.



After our programme manager finished giving speech, the emcee of the night passed the floor to our dear president – Asri Abd Rahim – was invited to hit the stage. According to him, a sincere intention is what matters in joining MISI Club. Then, the representative of University Centre for Community Engagement (UCCE) was invited to give a welcoming speech to our participants of the night.



After showing a multimedia presentation of previous events, the night would be boring without this special performance. With the aim to entertain our participants, Amira Zulkopli, Ramis Hamadul and our club president himself performed a few songs including Akim and the Majistret’s ‘Potret’. Interestingly, our main guest of the night was too excited that he even stood up and recorded a video.


Eventually, we committees took some pictures with our participants as a memento of the precious night. Alhamdulillah3, there was no serious issue during the preparation period until the end of the programme. Well done, guys!

OUTREACH TO KAMPUNG PAHU (OPAH) SERIES 3 Assalamualaikum warahmatullah.. Recently, Kampung Pahu, Ranau, Sabah facing the hardship to get clean water source due to El-Nino event. The villagers are in need of water equipment such as water pump and water tank especially those who are unable financially. Thus, OPAH Series 3, MISI CLUB IIUM is now collecting money for donation to help the villagers to buy the equipment. Other than that, donations such as Book/Reading materials, Fabric, Baju kurung, and baju melayu are also accepted to be given to those in need. This programme is a community service. MISI AGM & AGD Semester 1 2015/2016

Assalamualaikum w.b.t December 10, 2015  – After more than one year, it’s what we all have been waiting for which was the dissolution of our line-up for 2014/2015 session. Managed by Afiq Kahar and Masni Mayuddin, our Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Annual Grand Dinner (AGD) was held at Seminar Room 2, Cultural Activity Centre (CAC). At the beginning of programme, we all listened to all reports about our whole tenure from the mainboard. After Asri Abd Rahim gave his last speech as our club president and dissolved his own line-up, it’s time to introduce our new line-up for 2015/2016 session with our video. OPAH Series 2

Assalamualaikum w.b.t For the second series of Outreach to Kampung Pahu (OPAH), our programme manager and assistant programme manager were Ade Jobin and Syahirah Shamsudin respectively. With the aim to build a mini library, we welcomed thirteen new OPAH family members! October 24, 2015  – Travelled with Malindo Air, this airline served us the most comfortable air trip compared to our previous flights. Touching down at the airport, we were welcomed by Hidayah Centre Foundation (HFC) representatives named Azwan Abdullah and Riduan Ramli. Then, we directly departed for a grocery to get everything we needed for our twenty five hampers we allocated for the villagers.
