MISI Training Camp 3.0 Semester 1 2015/2016

Hi, did you join our MISI Training Camp 3.0? If you didn’t, you’re one of the losers because we spent all three days outside of the campus! Managed by Soris Hamadul and Alina Hamdan, this third series was held at Janda Baik!


October 9, 2015 – Gathered at the main staircase of IIUM Administration building, we had a briefing about the programme by Fakhrurrazi Jamali and Naeimah Jamin. Then, we all headed to Mak Lang Campground by a bus. Before setting up our camps, participants were taught how to set up properly. At night, participants recited al-Mulk by learning how to use al-Baghdadi ‘knocking’ technique.




October 10, 2015 - After gathering for an aerobic slot, both committees and participants were ready to trek a jungle! For this slot, each one of us was given a life jacket. As this activity required mental and physical endurances, there was a variety of challenges we had to face such as climbing highlands, crossing rivers and so on. Yes, this third series aimed to provide mental and physical preparations before joining an outreach programme.




October 11, 2015 – Early in the morning, Nuzul Kasim gave a religious talk for a moment before we had another aerobic session. For Morning Fortune, we went to Rumah Kebajikan Nur Zaharah in order to learn how to plant a mustard. Then, we all got back to the camping site and gathered at the hall for our closing ceremony. By 1.30PM, we departed for IIUM Gombak and safely arrived before 6.30PM.



Alhamdulillah3, committees lucratively managed to hold such programme outside of our university for three days. To our dear programme manager and assistant programme manager… WELL DONE! WELL DONE! WELL DONE!

OUTREACH TO KAMPUNG PAHU (OPAH) SERIES 3 Assalamualaikum warahmatullah.. Recently, Kampung Pahu, Ranau, Sabah facing the hardship to get clean water source due to El-Nino event. The villagers are in need of water equipment such as water pump and water tank especially those who are unable financially. Thus, OPAH Series 3, MISI CLUB IIUM is now collecting money for donation to help the villagers to buy the equipment. Other than that, donations such as Book/Reading materials, Fabric, Baju kurung, and baju melayu are also accepted to be given to those in need. This programme is a community service. MISI AGM & AGD Semester 1 2015/2016

Assalamualaikum w.b.t December 10, 2015  – After more than one year, it’s what we all have been waiting for which was the dissolution of our line-up for 2014/2015 session. Managed by Afiq Kahar and Masni Mayuddin, our Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Annual Grand Dinner (AGD) was held at Seminar Room 2, Cultural Activity Centre (CAC). At the beginning of programme, we all listened to all reports about our whole tenure from the mainboard. After Asri Abd Rahim gave his last speech as our club president and dissolved his own line-up, it’s time to introduce our new line-up for 2015/2016 session with our video. OPAH Series 2

Assalamualaikum w.b.t For the second series of Outreach to Kampung Pahu (OPAH), our programme manager and assistant programme manager were Ade Jobin and Syahirah Shamsudin respectively. With the aim to build a mini library, we welcomed thirteen new OPAH family members! October 24, 2015  – Travelled with Malindo Air, this airline served us the most comfortable air trip compared to our previous flights. Touching down at the airport, we were welcomed by Hidayah Centre Foundation (HFC) representatives named Azwan Abdullah and Riduan Ramli. Then, we directly departed for a grocery to get everything we needed for our twenty five hampers we allocated for the villagers.
